Software is used for designed and analyzing, and is
central to most projects.

Students get involved in designing and analyzing buildings,
models, codes or maps, and learn mathematics while they
are doing their project.

The programs meet the NCTM Standards and fulfill its principles. |

MMAP
is the Middle School Mathematics through Application Project,
a comprehensive middle school curriculum developed at the Institute
for Research on Learning and Stanford University from 1992 to1998.
MMAP units are available as separate units or as a sequenced
curriculum. MMAP units are in polished draft form. MMAP units
come with PC or Mac software.

Pathways to Algebra and Geometry
is the commercial product based on MMAP. Pathways materials
are packaged in semester bins that contain the MMAP unit, modified
for publication, skills practice sheets, student books and most
manipulatives needed. PC or Mac software is included. |
