Who We Are
MMAP creates middle-school multidisciplinary units emphasizing mathematics. Teachers from the San Francisco Bay Area and researchers from the Institute for Research on Learning (IRL) and Stanford University have developed these units with funds from the National Science Foundation, the Hearst Foundation, the Telesis Foundation, and an anonymous donor. MMAP has received equipment grants from Apple Computer, Inc., The Hewlett-Packard Company, and Microsoft Corporation.
